These colonies establish quickly in spring and typically expand far faster than weaker or newly created colonies, giving beekeepers a strong start to the season. Each nuc is supplied on British Standard National frames, making them suitable for both National and WBC hives without modification.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

Each nuc will contain:

  • Six National frames fully covered with bees
  • A minimum of three frames of brood in all stages
  • At least one full frame of food stores
  • A strong, healthy population of honey bees
  • A marked, mated and actively laying Buckfast queen

Each colony is supplied in a ventilated 6-frame correx National nuc box, ensuring safe transport whether collecting in person or receiving delivery.
